The Artisan Guild by the Bay is excited to host bi-annual craft markets on the UCSF Mission Bay campus! In Winter and Spring, members of our guild, each a past or present memberof the UCSF community, come together in order to sell our hand-made arts and crafts. Our members talents range from needlecraft, to photopgraphy, sculpting to jewelry making, and everything in between!

Interested in joining our guild and becoming a vendor at our events? Our requirements are:
- You are a current or past UCSF community member - staff faculty or student: all are welcome!
- The items you sell must be hand-made and/or designed by you. We do not allow reselling or 'vintage' items unless they are significantly altered by you
About us
The Artisan Guild by the Bay (AGB) was founded circa 2009 and was then known as the Laurel Heights Artisan Guild. The Laurel Heights campus ceased to be the center of operations for the guild when the building was decommisioned and, simultaneously, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. In 2020, the guild re-establised at the Mission Bay campus in the Valley Tower (WGCVC) but it was not until 2023 that another handmade market was scheduled as our community returned to in-person campus events.
AGB celebrates, supports and promotes handmade crafts and artwork made for and by members of the UCSF community. Our aim is to foster community across the campus and to create a safe space to express our unique talents and creativity. We hold semi-annual craft fairs at the Mission Bay campus which are open to the public and vended by members of the guild.
Our guild promotes awareness and appreciation of the creative drive behind UCSF. Our events strengthen community among both attendees and participants, bolster the well being of our community and bring the unique people of UCSF together. Seasonal craft sales and other events organized by AGB are open to the whole UCSF community.
We lead our Guild with PRIDE values. We respect our creators and the people who support our artists. We are a diverse and inclusive community of artists and welcome all artisans and respect their individualism. We value our creators equally. We offer the opportunity to showcase creativity without restrictions. We are accountable to our Guild and to the public by holding guild meetings and public events. Our creativity is our motivation and it is our passion to share with others in our community.
All UCSF community members, past or present, are welcome to join our guild! Guild members are invited to join us as vendors in our bi-annual handmade craft markets that take place in May and December at the Mission Bay Campus.
